Liberty Capital was created in 1989 by our founder and still primary principal, Gary Purpura. Gary manages the company with the focus on the client, respecting the relationship between the representative and their client, and providing the representative with the tools and the freedom to be successful while enjoying their business. If you check out Liberty Capital on www.FINRA.org/Brokercheck you will see in our twenty years of our existence, we have never had to report to FINRA an arbitration award or any disciplinary actions against our firm or our representatives.
Dual Registration
We are dually registered as both a Broker-Dealer and a Registered Investment Advisor. This provides our representatives the independence to have relationships with clients through either commission based transactions or Fee-Based accounts.
Generous Payouts
Liberty Capital offers our representatives a generous payout from their first production dollar. We do not impose a haircut before your split; your payout is from your first dollar of production, less your clearing fees. Liberty Capital does not participate in life insurance products; so you are free to act as the general agent and receive 100% of your life insurance commissions (including long-term care insurance and fixed annuities).
Great clearing services
Our clearing services are provided by First Southwest Company out of Dallas, Texas. They are easy to work with, quick to respond to our requests, and offer us low cost transactions. You can check out First Southwest and their parent company Plains Capital, at www.FirstSW.com.
Respect your client relationships
Along the lines of respecting the relationship between the representative and their clients; if for any reason our representatives should leave Liberty Capital, they are entitled to transfer their clients to another firm without solicitation or interruption by any representatives of Liberty Capital.
